Febuary Now thru Feb. 14 - Valentine`s promo - "Think. LOVE. Adopt" - Location of this event is at the Shelter.  Staff will sell specially made Valentine cards for shelter dogs & cats for $1, and then if cards are for specific dog, the card goes on their kennels otherwise cards will be placed around shelter walls.

March March 6 - Shot Clinic will be held at the shelter`s P.A.W.S. clinic  from 10am - 2pm March 27 - Pets in the Park - 2PM - Navajo County Park in Overgaard, AZ. - For more info....click here!

April April 24 - Home Depot Derby Days - Starts at 8AM "til last race - In the Home Depot parking lot. -  First time event that is sure to be a roaring success. Show Low, Pinetop and Lakeside Police & Fire, Fire and Rescue, Animal Control, will be there to watch kids race derby cars they built with the police officers and firemen's assistance.     April 26 - Caboodle Hair Salon`s Cut - A - Thon - 10AM - 5PM - Haircuts will be offered and all proceeds will go to our Humane Society for the animals needing help and homes in our community.  Drop-ins welcome or call now for an appointment, 928.537.7855.

May May 8 - "PAWS for the Cause 2010"  - Gather & regrister at the Blue Ridge Middle School parking lot next door to the shelter, then walk to and through the park area across from the shelter. Another Fun-Raiser for the whole family, including the dog!  Take a walk in nature with your best friend, a shelter alumni dog, no dog at all, or even an available adoptable dog from the Humane Society.  Every step helps your health and the animal's, and raises money to help give shelter, food, and care for the many animals that now, and in the future, find themselves calling the shelter home. Pre-register or register day of event and turn your pledge money in, walk at your pace, and be back at 4 PM for awards, a hot dog, and more!  May 15 - Off-site adoptions - location - TBD May 22 - Off-site adoptions - location - TBD

June June 4, 5 & 6 - Show Low Days ~ Pet Sitting, Membership Drive, Daily Raffles for Email and Mailing Address Sign-ups, and more!    This will be held at the Show Low City Park. June 5 - 10am - 6pm - DOGhouse Thrift Shop Monthly Bake Sale! Yummy delectable delights priced just right!  Interested in baking one or more of your family favorites? Maybe a tasty treat you make for your pet? Call JoAnn at 368.8694 for info.  This will be held at the DOGhouse Thrift Shop, Rainbow Lake Drive, Lakeside (corner of 260 & Rainbow Lake Dr)   June 12 - 10am - 3pm -Weekend Warriors! On the Road Again with off-site adoptions of Adorable Adoptables Puppies! Dogs! Kittens! Cats!!  This will be held at the Pinetop Safeway.  June 26 - 10am - 3pm - GRAND OPENING!  Micro-chip Clinic, ONLY $10 & raffle for GREAT gift baskets, Membership & Adoption Sponsorship Drives, and Adorable Adoptable Puppies! Dogs! Kittens! Cats!  This will be held at The Pet Food Warehouse,   600 N. Old Linden Road, Show Low

July July 3 - 9am - noon - Home Depot ~Off-site adoptions at Team Depot's Kids Workshops!  To be held at Home Depot, 5601 S. White Mnt.
